Outlook Introduction

Hi,

I have this problem.
I decided to organize my contacts by group, e.g. by company so I created 4 group. Then by mistake I put one of them in an other and now I have only 3 groups.
Can you tell me in which way I can have back my 4 groups? I tried with "undo" Key, but it doesn`t work.

Thank you very much

Stefnia

RE: Outlook Introduction

Dear Stefania

Thank you for attending Outlook course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

I know that you can create folders inside contacts and give them names and then drag and drop the various contacts to arrange them by departments or companies etc...

I am not sure what you mean by creating group for the contacts. Do you mean that you created different folders and dragged and dropped the contacts in these folders within the contacts? I am assuming that by mentioning creating groups you mean creating folders. I tried to drag one folder into another but it didn't allow me to do that.

My recommendation to you would be that simply ensure that in all the contacts you have the name of the company in the company box. Then simply choose View > Arrange Buy and click on the Show views in the Navigation pane. In the Current view you can choose by company to and you will see that all your contacts will be arranged by the company. If for any reason you haven't assigned the company to some contacts then they will appear in a category none where you can simply double-click on them and type the name of the company.

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards
