Why do you normaly use Autotext?

RE: Word Intermadiate

Hi Stefania

Thanks for your post

The main reason for using Autotext is to insert any amount of text into your documents, you can have as many of these as you want and can have as much or as little text as you want

Make sure you select the text you want to use then go the insert menu - select autotext and click new - then type a name that is at least 4 digits long then click OK - to use this you can type the name for your Autotext and press enter. this should then insert the text you desire

Hope this helps

RE: Word Intermadiate

Hi Mark,

I have an other question.
I know that when I work with mail merge I should notice a new tool bar added to the screen, but I don`t see it.
Can you tell me why?
Maybe I am doing something wrong!

Thank you again in advance for your precious help.

RE: Word Intermadiate

Hi Mark,

the school answered to my question about the training system and I apologized for my misunderstanding in regard the school`s training system.
They explained to me the way the course and relevant documents works and that we learn exactly what is written in the training support Pack, which covers the syllabus, and that the downloadable Reference Manuals include other tasks that are an expansion and extras to what is covered.
I know now that the Reference Manuals go into much more technical details about what is available and can be accomplished.
I have to add that unfortunalety it isn`t so easy for me to understand well the instructions in the "Manuals", but maybe because english is not my first language.

Kind regards

Stefania
