Personal objectives and business objectives, how could they be managed effectively?

For any objectives you need to set a clear goal. SMART is a good way to think about it. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time bound.
Think about what you want to achieve and what success would look like. Then think about what actions you need to take to achieve the goal. Is this achievable?
For example, you had an objective to encourage customers to think ahead when planning training. An initial action you suggested was to have more catch up meetings to see what is happening with them. How often will you have these meetings, what do you want to find out, what questions do you need to ask, what will you do with the information? All of this planning will create a SMART goal.
