Applying filters

How can I add a line / macro to return the top 25 lines when applying a filter. When working with large data sets I want a 'preview' to check I have applied the correct filters (applying to whole data set will be time consuming)

RE: Applying filters

Hi Phillip

Thanks so much for your question.

Our Access trainers are all very busy training today, so to ensure you get the best answer possible we will have to delay our answer until tomorrow.

I hope this is ok.

RE: Applying filters

Hi Gary,

I am sorry that you had to wait for the answer.

You can do what you want without a macro. Create a query and in the query design view in the Query Setup group select 25 from the Return list. This will return the top 25 records.
