Access intermediate

I have just completed my access basic course and would like to progress to intermediate level. Given that people all have different learning abilities, from your returning candidates, what is the average period of time before, candidates have returned to progress to the next level. The reason I asked is I would like to set myself a target date.

RE: Access intermediate

Hi Dave

There is no useful average time period. We have have had candidates that were under time constraints and did all the courses (Intro to VBA) in 1 week and others took over 6 months before coming on the next course.

My suggestion is to take a couple of weeks to consolidate your knowlwdge (ie Create a new database and practice the skills you learnt) before coming on the intermediate course.

Regards

Carlos

Access tip:

Hide Access Tables

One method of stopping your Access tables appearing in Database window, is to rename the table(s) with the prefix usys.

This converts the table into a system object, which cannot be viewed in the Database window.

You can show system objects in the Database window by the following:

Step 1: On the Tools menu, click Options.
Step 2: Click the View tab.
Under Show, select the System Objects check box.
Click OK.
