Pivot Table

Hi
How can I ask my columns to display in a certain order in my pivot table.

RE: Pivot Table

Hi Kaye,

Thank you for the forum question.

In the PivotTable hoover your mouse courser above the column heading and when you get a black down arrow click to select the whole column you want to be displayed somewhere else. Hoover over the boarder of the selection and when you get the move tool (the mouse courser with 4 arrows pointing up, down, left, and right), click and drag the column left or right to the position you will like.

Kind regards

Excel tip:

Sorting data stored in rows

Primarily Excel is set up to sort data that is stored in columns rather than rows.

It is possible to get Excel to sort data stored in rows however.

Click in the row you want to sort, or select the cells in the rows you wish to sort.

Go to Data - Sort, then go to the Options button in the bottom left corner of the Sort dialogue box.
