Document Linking

How do you link a document to a record?

RE: Document Linking

Dear Kwesi

Thank you for attending Access Introduction course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

There is a data type called Hyperlink. You assign the field as Hyperlink and then when you are in eth datasheet view you click on the field and then simply choose Insert > Hyperlink...

You can hyperlink the data value to any web address, Document such as Word, Excel , etc.. or even e-mail.

I have gone through the steps with your colleague, Tara, who attended the course with you so please ask her if there are any queries!!

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards
