RE: Formatting data across multiple sheets

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for your question.

Whether you're simply linking to one cell in another sheet or writing a formula which links to many cells in other sheets, the method is the same.

E.g. To calculate the total for numbers on another sheet:

1. Type =SUM( in the relevant cell
2. Click on the sheet tab where the numbers are
3. Select the numbers by clicking and dragging over them
4. Click in the formula bar at the top and put in the closing bracket
5. Press the Enter (Return) key

Excel will go back to where you started your formula and show the result.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Marius Barnard

Excel tip:

Editing Formulas in Excel Cells

Although people like to edit a formula in the Formula bar, you can also edit a formula in the cell.

To do this select the cell and press "F2". This puts Excel into Edit mode, and you can move around in the cell and make any necessary changes.

Double-clicking the cell also puts Excel in Edit mode.
