Thanks so much for the previous solution ref sum per month on Power Query however I could not get the steps to work to present the data to what I needed in my query
I tried an alternative solution using aggregate data however this is not fully automated as each new month added needs to be selected manually
Could you please have a look at my file sent and marked for your attention at

Please let me know if there is a better solution to the one I have used.

Hi Kay,
Thank you for the forum question.
I will send you an email within 10 minutes.
I have added a step by step solution to your file and you can also see my query and the output. I added a new month to your raw data and by refresh the month was added to the output report.
If this is not working you must have something in your Raw Data I do not have in the example file you sent me.
This is the best solution I can find, but it will automate the process.

Excel tip:Move to edge of data blockWhen data is held in a block, however large, use the Ctrl key with your cursors to move quickly to the far edge of the block. Works with all 4 direction keys. |
