Excel and Outlook email integration

Hello,

How can I link emails in Outlook to integrate with a dashboard from excel and vice versa?
I think this may involve macro's or VBA etc. But i'm unsure what's available and what' possible. My principle aim is to have outlook emails reflect changes on excel, OR, an excel file to reflect changes into an email that is sent out (similar to mail-merge).

RE: Excel and Outlook email integration

Hi Kim,

Thank you for the forum question.

Yes you are right. You will need advanced VBA knowledge to do what you want.

You will need both Excel VBA and Outlook VBA. On our Advanced VBA course we control Outlook from Excel, but it is not a easy task. You will need to understand decision code, loops, variables, and much more to get the knowledge.
