Data crunching

how do i work on exported data from my database

RE: data crunching

Hi Novuroze

Thank you for your question. If you could give me a little more information I can offer further advice. In the meantime one way you can work with your exported data is to just open it directly in Excel using File and Open. Excel can import data from multiple file formats. In the File > Open dialogue box try changing the file type from All Excel Files to All Files and try and load your data. If Excel needs help interpreting the information it will begin an import wizard. Always save and close your other work before doing this in case Excel struggles and crashes.

I hope this answered your question - let me know if you need any further information.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Excel tip:

Display pictures on Chart Data Point

Replacing a single chart data point bar with a picture.
Step 1: Left click on a bar. Then, wait, and do a second single click on the bar. This will select just one data point.

Step 2: Right click on the bar and select Format Data Point.

Step 3: On the fill effects tab, choose a picture. Browse for a picture for that bar. Indicate if you want it to be stretched or stacked. Repeat for each bar.
