Slide numbers

How can I assure that I get all the slide numbers on my presentation, when every time I try to add them there is always at least 1 missin. I tried via - insert - header & footer and also in Master layout.
Still it is doing the same. It is a constant issue for me and I don't know how to resolve it.
Can you advise please?

Thank you

RE: Slide numbers

Hi Barbora

Thanks for getting in touch. The Slide Numbering is controlled in a number of different areas, so you'll need to check the following.

Are there particular Layouts that don't have numbers? When you look at the Slide Master, you should check the Numbering options for all your layouts, not just the main Slide Master (the one at the top of the list).

You should check Insert > Header & Footer as you've done before, but do check "Apply to All Slides".

You might also want to take a look at Design > Slide Size > Custom Slide Size as there are page numbering options in there.

Also bear in mind, if you use any custom templates in-house they may have settings that override these.

I hope you manage to track down the rogue number!

RE: Slide numbers

Dear Gary,
Thank you very much. I will try it in teh Design option. I thought that it might be in our template, but it also happen while I was on teh training course and that was not our template.

I will give it a go now, thank you very much.

RE: Slide numbers

Hi

Thanks your reply. I'd also keep an eye on "blank" Slide Masters. Typically they do not have any header or footer info.
