RE: Slide Master
Hi Kirsty
Thanks for getting in touch. The Slide Master is probably the most useful and powerful feature in PowerPoint. By making changes on this single slide the entire presentation is modified.
If you decide you need a logo on every slide of a 50 page presentation, you can drop it on the Slide Master. If you decide every slide should have the main content indented to the right, with a special bullet type, you can change it once on the Slide Master. If you decide all your body text should Fade in, you can modify it on the Slide Master once and once only.
Not only that, but if anyone changes your presentation and brings it out of the house style, you can quickly hit Reset and it will look like the rest of your presentation again. Furthermore, you can save the Slide Master as a design template and reuse it as often as you like.
I hope you start to see some of the possibilities of the Slide Master - it really is the best way to work in PowerPoint.
Kind regards
Gary Fenn

Also, I now how to add sound, though I would like the sound to be continuious on each slide when presentating, how can I do this?

RE: Slide Master
Hi Kirsty
Thanks for your reply. Once you have inserted your audio clip, ensure it is selected then look for the 'Playback' tab. Within the Audio Options section check the box 'Play Across Slides'.
The sound clip will now play throughout the presentation.
Kind regards
