Sorting

If there is space in the data, will the sorting still work?

RE: Sorting

Hi Christina,

In a normal table it wont work it will only sort the data until the blank row. However, if you first select the entire table manually and then select >insert (on the ribbon) > table, then your table will be formatted as an excel table and this will allow you to sort your data with blank rows or spaces, the blank row or cell will go to the bottom on the table.

Thanks
Paul

Excel tip:

Display Functions on Worksheets

Functions in Excel can be difficult to recall their format/syntax

For example, you want to use the =PMT function.

Enter =PMT, then select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+A.

This usful memory jog, will display the arguments of a function on a worksheet, allowing the user to proceed with the generation of the function
