DISTRIBUTION LISTS

Andrew - Can you create a new distribution list from an email you have been sent?

RE: DISTRIBUTION LISTS

Hi Jessica

Thank you for your question - give this a try by testing with one or two addresses first and see if it produces the results you are looking for:

Open your email that contains internet recipient email addresses you would like to put into the distribution list. Click into To or CC block that contains the addresses to copy, then use Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C to highlight them and copy them.

Open up a simple text editor like notepad (usually from Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad)

Paste in the addresses and tidy them up by replacing the separator commas with semicolons

Highlight and copy the edited block of addresses.

Switch to Outlook and create a new distribution list. Click on Select Members then click in the cell beside the Members > button and paste in your edited list of email addresses (use control + V) then click OK.

This will create a list of external internet email addresses and avoid you having to retype them all.

Hope this helps - let us know how you get on.

Kind regards,
Andrew

2. click on the DOUBLE ARROW you see on the bottom of the menu.
3. Wait for the menu to expand

If you always want to have the menus expanded:
4. On the menu bar, click TOOLS, then CUSTOMISE. Select OPTIONS, then uncheck the
