How to name a range? Thanks

RE: Name

Dear Genevieve

Thank you for attending Excel Advanced course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

There are mainly two methods of naming range of cells. One method is to simply select the cells you wish to name and then on the name box type the name you wish to refer that range ( please ensure that you do not use space bar while naming,. You can use _underscore)

The second method of naming many cells at the same time is to select the cells including the column headings and Row Headings. Choose Insert > Name > Create...

Top row and left column will automatically be checked in the dialog box. Press Ok. Verify the new names by clicking on the arrow next to the name box.

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards
