Macro for Formatting

I am unable to work the Macro Button set up on my PC to allow colour formatting of the bars.

THis was set up by your trainer on our last in house training.

please can you advise how I can get the Format button to work again.

The Colour bars were allocated to Task types.

RE: macro for Formatting

Hi Bob

Thanks for your post. From checking our records it looks like we provided some Excel training to your team back in July 2007.

It's hard to tell exactly what you have set up with regards to the macro, certainly sounds like the trainer created something for you on the fly as an informal solution to your request aside from the training you received.

To give us a better idea of what the issue is we will need to see the actual spreadsheet you are working on with the embedded macro.

Once we have reviewed it we may well find that the fix is only a matter of minutes. However we may well need more trainer time to reach a solution wand naturally we would inform you of any costs beforehand.

If you would like to send through your file for review, then please let me know.
Regards

Jacob

RE: macro for Formatting- MS Project

Jacob

Sorry - the in house training was for MS Project. The Macro's are on MS Project.

Training was late last year, can't remember trainer's name but it was a 1 to 1 specific to set up a Joinery Programe.

Your earliest contact would be apprecaited.

The file is 4mb, if you like I can send it to you if you give an e-mail address and explain what the problem is over the phone with it open.

Please advise at your earliest
