How do I insert photos in a powerpoint presentation?

RE: Powerpoint

Hi Caroline,
Thank you for your question;
In answer; to insert a picture from a file, the internet, or any other source ie memory stick. open the slide you wish to place the photograph on and use the menu command Insert>Picture>From File, navigate to your source and select the graphic then click Insert. You might find it necessary to adjust the size of the graphic.
I find a quick way of restricting the size of the graphic and keeping all proportions is to draw a shape using the drawing toolbar and then to fill the shape with the picture... this way you can pre-determine the size and proportions of the picture before you insert it.... Pete

Microsoft Office tip:

CLOSE and SAVE ALL

Instead of closing or savng all your files one by one, you can do this in one step by holding the SHIFT key whilst clicking on the FILE menu.

You will then see a Close All and Save All option in the menu
