How do I create a hyperlink to another document?

RE: word hyperlinks

Hi Louisa,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum;
To answer your question:

1. Select the text that you wish to use as your 'trigger'
2. Click the Hyperlink button on the Standard Toolbar or use the keyboard command CTRL+H
3. From the dialog box which opens make your choice as to where you want to aim your hyperlink, note the options available.
4. Enter the Url or file location
5. Click OK
Test your link in your original document
I hope that has helped, if so please click the resolved link, regards Pete
