Excel 2003

need further explanations of formulae bar and shortcuts

RE: Excel 2003

Hello Simon,
I hope you enjoyed your Excel training session with us.

To answer your question, when you create a formula in a cell and hit the ENTER key, the result of your calculation will appear in the cell. However, the contents of the cell are actually still the formula that you originally entered. When you click on the cell, you can see the formula in the formula bar under all your toolbars.

With regard to shortcuts, can you tell me what shortcuts you are trying to perform, and I can help you further?

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved. If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. And please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Have a great day.

Regards,

Excel tip:

Using Excel's MODE function

Use Excel's MODE function to display the most common value present in a particular range of cells.

The Mode function looks like this:

=MODE(cell range)

As an example, if 35 is the most commonly recurring number in a particular cell range, then the function will display 35.
