On-site Training Preparations Checklist

You can print out this list to ensure your training event runs smoothly.

timings check Inform delegates that training times are: 09:30 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 16:30 with lunch from 12:30 - 13:30 (unless otherwise agreed).
security check Inform us/trainer of any security items required to gain access to premises on the day (eg. identification)
meet and greet check Arrange for the trainer to be met by a representative 15-30 minutes prior to the start of training.
it setup

check Ensure training room is set up prior to training:
(If you don't have the following requirements in place, please let us know)

For courses that require IT/computers:

  • check Arrange one PC or laptop per delegate
  • check PC for trainer, connected to additional display screen or projector, which:
    • Should be a minimum size of 46 inches
    • Must have HDMI or suitable connector (please contact us if it's VGA only)
  • check All PC's and laptops to be installed with:
    • Microsoft Windows
    • Full installation of the application you are training on
      eg. Microsoft Office (current version)
    • A USB port for transfer of course files
  • check If supplied, copy course files on to each PC

For all courses:

  • check Supply of whiteboard/flipchart
  • check Adequate ventilation and provision of drinking water in the training venue
  • check Adequate space for each student to train comfortably

(For one-to-one training, projector and whiteboard/flipchart are not mandatory).

internet connection

check Internet access available. This ensures all delegate feedback can be captured and enables 24 months access to support forum

paper and pen check Paper and pen for each delegate.
printer For tailored training and consultancy, you will receive course reference material after the event (unless otherwise agreed).

It is imperative that the training sessions are not interrupted under any circumstances, except for emergencies.
