Excel workbook; 4 tabs have the same data in each row and column

Is there an easy way to change formulae, without removing formatting, and adding check totals ie: sum of row 2-5 = row 6, where all the figures are imported into the file. This is across 600 rows.
I need to copy the formule across 4 tabs, and tried by grouping the tabs and adding rows for check total but that didnt work.

Hi Roshni,

Thank you for the forum question.

I do not understand why you cannot get it to work by grouping the worksheets.

You should be able to do what you want, if you group the worksheets and then insert a row where you want and do the check totals.


Which part doesn't work?

If you are not able to insert rows, it can be another issue.

Try to insert a new row in one worksheet at the time to find out if one or more worksheets having and issue.

Hey Jens,

I can send you the spreadsheet as it has no figures, you need to have access to our system to be able to import the figures.
So i have been asked to import the information rather than use sums to sum all the subtotals and then include check totals.
I need to do this for 4 tabs.

Is it possible to have your direct email please?
