Pivot tables - displaying multiple pivot tables side by side

Hi

Is it possible to display multiple pivot tables side by side ? I create monthly reports on student usage comparing that month with the corresponding month the previous year (eg October 2018 and October 2017) and need to create a cumulative report for each year so need to incorporate each month. Is it possible to display each monthly pivot table side by side ?
We also need to apply slicers so I would guess there has to be a connection between the tables.

If this is not possible, please could you advise the best way of displaying information from multiple sources - we would need to see comparisons month by month rather than just filtering on a particular month.

Many thanks

Cal

RE: Pivot tables - displaying multiple pivot tables side by side

Hi Cal,

Thank you for the forum question.

I have created a PivotTable (see attachement). I have got all you want out of one PivotTable. My source data are two columns. A date column and a sales amount column. I have added the sales amount column 4 times to the Value field.

If you right click on one of the values in the last 3 columns and click Show Values As you can see what I have done (click on the option which is ticked).

To create a PivotTable from many sources you will need to have related tables and create relationships between the tables or you can create a data model in PowerPivot.
