Pivot Tables

How do I get my default value to be set to SUM (as it is currently set to COUNT)?

RE: Pivot Tables

Hi Erin,

Thank you for the forum question.

It is not possible to set sum or count or any of the other options to default. It is your source data which control the PivotTable. If you have blanks in your values the PivotTable will count if not the PivotTable will sum. It can also be other issues which will make the PivotTable to count.

Sorry you will have to change it if you do not get what you want.
