Table Use

Once you had chosen your colour for the table & were filtering what you needed, how do you unselect the colour table so it returns to its original format?

RE: Table Use

Hi Faith

Do you want to return the table to a data format or just remove the fill colour from the cells?

To "reset" the formatting of the table, you could select the Table Tools tab and remove the ticks next to banded rows / columns. Then select a plain design from the style options on the right of the tab.

If you wish to return the table to a standard data format, you can select "Convert to Range" on the left side of the Table Tools tab. This will keep any table formatting you may have applied, so if you don't want any formatting, you may have to do the step above before converting the table.

Kind regards

Wendy

Excel tip:

Copying Formulae Quickly

There is a quicker way of copying a formula down a column.

Just point and double click on the black autofill handle in the right hand corner of a cell.

This will work providing you have some data in the column to the left of the column.
