when importing data from excel to word on mail merge the data looses some data looses its font style how do i change this? i.e. in the pre mail merge screen then i press alt F9 and can enter/##'##.00 is there a code for entering the font.

You may find adding the \* MERGEFORMAT switch to your merge field helps preserve the formatting.
