Columns hidden then unhidden have no width and require teasing o
This effect is simliar to the problem I report 23 November. On that occasion it was rows and turned out to be related to filtering.
This time it is columns. I manually hid some to create a custom view. Then I selected all and unhid with a view to creating a different custom view. The hidden columns didn't unhide. I can manually slide them out but thats not satisfactory. I have tried closing the custom view and even deleting it.
What is causing this please and how do I resolve it?
RE: Columns hidden then unhidden have no width and require teasi
Hello Liz,
Thank you for your post. I simulated on my Excel the steps you mentioned, including the saved view. What worked for me was to select the entire worksheet (top left corner), then right-click on any column header and select Unhide from the options. All my hidden columns opened up.
If you have already tried these steps and they didn't work, please post again and we'll look for a different solution.
Kind regards
Marius Barnard
