Double copy

can we have a option of doing two copy paste at a time i.e use two different shortcuts to copy two things at one time

RE: double copy

Hi Ali

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you are looking to be able to hold two different values in the clipboard so you have the option which one to paste.

You can achieve this result by viewing the items stored in Excel's clipboard (it stores the last 24 things you have copied) and directly choosing which one should be pasted into the spreadsheet.

To look at what is in your clipboard go to the Home tab and click the small symbol to the right of the group label "clipboard" (below the cut and copy buttons).

A panel will open showing previews of the things you have copied. click on one of them and it will be pasted into your spreadsheet.

I hope this helps - let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Excel tip:

Rotating Text in an Excel 2010 Worksheet

Maybe you want to draw attention to certain text or you just simply want to make your worksheet look more exciting!

One of the things you might consider is, rotating the text in a particular cell or set of cells.

1) Select a cell you would like to rotate
2) Click the ''Home'' tab in the Ribbon
3) Click ''orientation'' in the ''Alignment'' section
4) A pop up menu will appear with a few choices, if you want to decide yourself how many degrees to rotate the text, then click ''Format Cell Alignment.''
