Split Screen Computers

I use 2nr screens for work, when I want to separate an Excel worksheet (or split) to 2 different sceens I have to save one of the documents, open a blank Excel document and open it on the other side of the screen. I cant seem to drag it out of the document and onto th other screen.

RE: Split Screen Computers

Hi Daniel

Thank you for your question. For Excel versions up to 2010 it is not possible to move windows out to separate monitors from the same instance of Excel. In other words the only way to have two spreadsheets on their own monitor is to open excel twice. This of course is not ideal. Whilst Microsoft have now resolved this problem it is only available in Excel 2013.

I'm sorry I didn't have a better answer for you on this occasion - please do let us know if you have any other questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Excel tip:

Difference between Two Dates

The DATEDIF function computes the difference between two dates. The DATEDIF function is as follows:

=DATEDIF (Date1,Date2,Interval)

Please note that Date1 must be less than (earlier) or equal to Date2

Please note that Interval must be one of the following codes: "d" (in days), "m" (in months), "y" (in years) expressed in quotes
