Line Graph

Hello

I have to re-create a line graph but I have looked through the various options and I can't see one that is like that.

I can email a picture of what the graph looks like that I am trying to re-create.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Natasha

RE: Line Graph

Hi Natasha

Sure - if you can email to forum@stl-training.co.uk and mark it for attention of Andrew I'll take a look and see what I can suggest.

Kind regards,
Andrew

RE: Line Graph

Hi Andrew

I emailed that to you this morning, did you get it?

RE: Line Graph

Hi Natasha

Thank you for your question and email.

I agree with you - I cannot find an equivalent diagram type for the example you sent me.

There is a SmartArt shape in the process group called Alternating Flow which is similar in terms of describing the process steps but it does not contain a line chart element.

The build in Line charts would not create this object either as far as I am aware.

It looks like this shape was created with regular Shapes, lines and text boxes so would need building up from .

Kind regards,
Andrew

RE: Line Graph

Hi Andrew

Thank you for getting back to me.
I am doing it from scratch but how do I get the arc to be equal? So far I have used shapes but it does not look as good as the diagram.

RE: Line Graph

Hi Andrew

I still haven't heard back from anyone.
Can someone get back to me asap.

RE: Line Graph

Hi Natasha

Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying to you.
The only other way I can think of to ensure any shape is balanced is to hold the shift key down while drawing it. For example with a rectangle or oval shape this creates a perfect square and circle respectively.

Kind regards,
Andrew

PowerPoint tip:

Using the Quick Access Toolbar in PowerPoint 2010

The Quick Access Toolbar is included in virtually every Office product, including Outlook 2010, Word 2010, Excel 2010, and PowerPoint 2010.

You will find the Quick Access Toolbar in the top-left side of the window. To begin, click the Customize button (it's the little black arrow at the end of the toolbar).

Simply click the commands you want to include.

Virtually any command can be added to the Quick Access Toolbar. Click the More Commands option and a new window will open from where you can browse the commands including those not on the ribbon.
