Chart, deleting chart elements

A student wants to delete all the chart elements from the chart that he has created in an Excel worksheet. He has already selected the chart. Now, which of the following ways can he choose to accomplish the task? (Select all that apply.)
- By right-clicking each chart element, and then selecting Delete.
- By right-clicking each chart element, and then selecting Remove.
- By clicking the each element's button in the Labels group in the Charts Tools Layout contextual tab and then selecting None.
- By clicking the element's button in the Labels group in the Charts Tools Design contextual tab and then selecting None.

RE: Chart, deleting chart elements

I am unable to find element button in any Contextual tab of Chart.

RE: Chart, deleting chart elements

Hi Jagparvesh

With chart selected, on Design tab, within Data group, choose Select Data.

The "elements" are the items listed under Legend Entries (Series)for example, which can be selected and removed if necessary.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

David

Excel tip:

Sorting data stored in rows

Primarily Excel is set up to sort data that is stored in columns rather than rows.

It is possible to get Excel to sort data stored in rows however.

Click in the row you want to sort, or select the cells in the rows you wish to sort.

Go to Data - Sort, then go to the Options button in the bottom left corner of the Sort dialogue box.
