How can I move one slide from a presentation to a removable disk without having to save each slide in a seperate "new presentation"

Thank you

RE: Powerpoint

Hello Emily,

You can right click a slide in your presentation and select Publish Slides. From the resulting dialogue box, you can check the slides you wish to publish and browse for the removable disk / memory stick you wish to save them to.

They will be saved with the name of the original presentation and the number of the slide.

This method allows you to capture the slides you need but does not remove them from the original presentation.

I hope this is helpful.

Kind regards,

Ruth

PowerPoint tip:

Showing all menu items

If you go into a pull down menu you usally find that you get a selection of items(this is the default) or sometimes everything. If you only get a selectiopn you have to go to the double arrows at the bottom of the menu and click it to get all of the hidden items.
To turn this off so that you always get everything, go to Tools / Customize / Options Tab / "Always show full menus". Make sure there is a tick in the box and you will always have every item.
