Symbols nect to slide previews in slide pane powerpoint

hiya

im in powerpoint and have my slide pane up on the left hand side, next to my slide there are symbols - a little star (which i know means the slide is animates) but on a few slides there is a box with a diagonal line through it next to the preview slide in the pane i.e. the slide no is in a box with a diagonal line through it....any idea what this means?

thanks
jenny

RE: symbols nect to slide previews in slide pane powerpoint

Hi Jenny,

Thank you for your question.

The box with the number and diagonal line in the top left of the slide preview indicates the slide is hidden and won't appear when you run the presentation in full screen mode.

If you right click over the slide miniature in the left hand slide pane, you can choose Hide or turn the option off.

I hope this answers your question.

Let me know either way.

Regards

Simon

PowerPoint tip:

Removing custom dictionary entries

If you add something to the custom dictionary in powerpoint you cannot remove it. The way to get around this is to go into word and remove it there.
