SmartArt

I took Power Point 2007 course last week to find that SmatArt is a quite useful tool to create a professional presentation. However, my company uses 2003 version and it seems that it does not have SmartArt. Is there any alternative way to SmartArt in 2003?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Yuko

RE: SmartArt

Hi Yuko,

Thank you for your question.

The nearest tool to SmartArt in 2003 would be the Diagram tool.

You can find this either in the Insert menu - Diagram
or on the Drawing toolbar (located at the bottom of your interface) This will allow you to insert digrams such as Organisational charts, Cycle diagrams, Venn diagrams etc.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

PowerPoint tip:

Running PowerPoint Show Without Opening PowerPoint

If you double click on a PowerPoint show, PowerPoint opens and shows the first slide in development mode. To prevent this do the following:

Find your PowerPoint file.

Right click on the file's icon with your mouse.

Select 'Show' from the menu that is displayed. PowerPoint opens and runs your slide Show. When the show finishes, PowerPoint closes.

Your audience never sees the PowerPoint working window at all.

To make it easier place a shortcut to the file on your desktop for quick access.
