Animation

Is there a quick way to animate all of the presentation istead of slide by slide?

RE: Animation

Hi Hannah,

Thank you for your question.

When you're applying animation to your slides the quickest way to add the same animated effect to other slides is to use the 'Animation Painter'. It's function is very similar to the Format Painter.

To use the Animation Painter:
- Apply the animated effects to the first object
- Double click the Animation Painter (On the Animations Tab, in the Advanced Aniations group.)
- Click on the other objects in your presentation that require the same animation. The Animation Painter will apply the effects to the selected objects.
- The Esc button will disable the Animation Painter.

Unfortunately there isn't a way of selecting all slides and then applying the animation or even an 'Apply to All' button for animation effects.

Just as an extra note, if you're applying Slide Transitions (the visual movement as one slide changes to another - Transitions tab of the Ribbon) these effects can be applied to all of your slides at once using the 'Apply to All' button.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

PowerPoint tip:

Moving to next column

If you are working in a slide that includes more than one column of bulleted items, press Ctrl+Enter to move to the next column of bullets. Pressing Ctrl+Enter again will create a new identical slide.
