Pasting excel chart into word

when pasting large charts from excel into word how do i adjust the formatting to ensure that the chart fits to a page neatly without keep manually adjusting fonts and row and column widths.

RE: pasting excel chart into word

Hi Beth

Thanks for your question.

The only suggestion I would think of would be to try recording a macro that copies and pastes the chart then adjusts the font sizes etc so you don't have to keep doing the same thing manually every time.

Give it a go and see how you get on.

thanks
Amanda

Word tip:

Move your cursor quickly to its previous position

Use these shortcut keys to quickly move your cursor back to its previous position in a Word document (particularly handy if you are working in a long document).

Hold down Ctrl + Alt + Z (or Command Option + Z on the Apple) to automatically move your cursor back to its previous position. You can use these keys more than once and Word will keep moving your cursor back to where it has been previously.
