What is best way to insert a master slide?

Thank you for attending PowerPoint 2007 Adv course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

To insert Master Slide please follow these steps:

1. On the Ribbon choose the View Tab and then Choose Slide Master

2. On eth Slide Master Tab you should be able to choose Insert Slide Master button. You will see 2 and then a new Master with all the relevant layouts will be displayed.

3. Rename the Master and ensure that the original master that you had you preserve it by pressing the preserve button.

Coping slides quickly

Rather than using insert / files, have both presentations open.
1. Windows / arrange all
2. In the Slide view drag the slide you want to copy, and drop it in the other slide view.
3. Then use the smart tag to decide if you keep the formatting.
