How do you get the bullet points to slide in separately.

RE: Animations

Hello Sue

Thank you for your question.

After you have applied the animation effect you would like to use, select the box representing the animation effect from the panel on the right of the screen.

There should be a dropdown arrow on the right hand side of the box.

Click the dropdown arrow and select Effect options.

There should be a Text Animation tab, and next to Group paragraphs by, click the dropdown arrow and select the level that corresponds to how many levels of bulleting you have on the slide (e.g. if you have first level and second level bullets on a slide, select By 2nd level paragraphs in the dropdown list).

Test in slide show view to check if it's working.

Kind regards
Amanda

PowerPoint tip:

Another way to reduce PowerPoint file sizes

A very quick and easy way to reduce the size of a PowerPoint file (particularly if it contains many images and/or objects) make the first slide in the presentation a blank slide (using slide layouts).

Why does this work? Because when you go to open the file through PowerPoint (File - Open or by using the Open button), the preview image that PowerPoint sees of that file is of a blank slide so the overall file size is reduced.
