What is a work break down structure

How do I use milestones

RE: What is a work break down structure

Hi Donna

Thank you for your question. The Work Breakdown Structre is a method of building a hierachical breakdown of your plan to make sure you have identified all of the activities required to meet your deliverables.

Milestones are valuable components of a plan because they have no duration (so they don't impact on the end date of your plan) but they can act as markers or flags that pinpoint significant dates or sequences in the life of your project.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew
