how do I insert a video into a presentation
RE: videos
Dear Margaret
Thank you for attending PowerPoint 2007 Introduction course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
I believe that as you have attended our 2007 version course your query is specific to 2007.
Please follow these steps:
1. Open the presentation that you wish to insert the movie clip.
2. Click on the relevant slide
3. On the Ribbon Click on Home Tab and then from the Slides Group choose the new Slide button. (If you click on the small arrow then you need to choose Title and Content option.)
4. You should be able to see a new slide with Title and then six icons. Please click on the Last button called Multimedia.
5. In the Insert Movie dialog box choose the location of the video file and then choose the movie file that you wish to insert in PowerPoint. (If you can't see the movie file then please choose all files from the File of Type: drop down arrow.
Please note that not all types of movies files are supported by Microsoft. Refer to the link below to see which Movie and Sound files are compatible with PowerPoint:

I can see that you are booked in our PPT Adv course on April 7 2009 so you should be covering that. Please find the link to see other topics that you will be covering and see if anyone else in your company might be interested in them. You can also see the schedule for the future courses if anyone is interested.
