do I need a fancy projector to be able to freeze my presentation midway thru, or can I use CTRL + something?

RE: PowerPoint

Hi David

Thanks for your question. The Freeze screen feature is part of the projector rather than Microsoft Project.

Pressing the letter B or W will set MS Project to display either a Black screen or a White screen but it won't let you then use the computer without your audience seeing the image on the screen.

One alternative might be to present from a machine that supports two monitors, one of which will be the projector. In this case you can run the presentation on the projector and work using the other screen without interrupting your presentation.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Andrew

PowerPoint tip:

Paste a web address into the hyperlink address field

If you copy a web address the only way to paste into the address field of the hyperlink box is to use CTRL + V. Right click paste does not work.
