Time management
how can I improve my efficiency at work
RE: time management
Hello Florence,
Hope you enjoyed your time Management course with BEST Training.
Thank you for your question regarding improving your effciency at work.
Probably the most effective way of doing this is to spend 15 minutes every morning listing all the tasks that are required, prioritising them, and then putting them into a plan for the day.
Making the plan is just the first step, as it is very important that you stick to your schedule as far as possible.
There will be times when you will be taken off course by interuptions and distractions, but this is when it is important to get back on track with what you wanted to accomplish in the first place.
Make sure you leave time in your plan to accomodate the natural time that you will need to handle interruptions. When you only have 30-40% of your day to yourself, make that time the most valuable by blocking it out, and letting your team know what you are upto.
How is your 15 min a day morning planning going?
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

Have a great day.

Management Training tip:Setting To Do ListsImprove your time management techniques by writing down your daily to do list for that day on the previous evening. You then don't have to get up and wonder "what do I need to do today" - you just hit the ground running. |
