Updating Excel Charts in Powerpoint

Is it possible to insert a chart into Powerpoint which is linked to existing data or an existing chart in an Excel Workbook, and which can be synchronised to update as the underlying data is modified?

RE: Updating Excel Charts in Powerpoint

Hi Adam,

Thank you for your question.

The answer is Yes.

If you copy the Excel chart, switch to a blank slide in PowerPoint, then use Paste Special - Paste Link as an Excel Chart object and click OK.

Then update the changes to the presentation by clicking the save button.

If there were then changes to the excel chart figures, the next time you re-open the Presentation, you will be asked to update the links which you will respond Update Links.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon
