Macros

are there practical examples of macros avaiable for download somewhere?

RE: Macros

Hi Rowen

Thank you for your question regarding Macros

There are plenty of places to find examples of Macros for Excel on the web. The main problem though is that Macros can cover a huge range of topics and so its hard to point you to a useful library.

I would recommend having a look at recording a few, look at the code and then come on a VBA course with us which will open up a whole new side of Excel for you.

Please let me know how you get on.

Excel tip:

DATEDIF function

The DATEDIF function is a worksheet function that computes the difference between two dates. This function is documented only in the help files for Excel 2000. It isn't documented in Excel 2002.
the formula function is:
=DATEDIF(Your age,Today(),"Y")
Y stands for year
