Thanks for your question.

There are two ways I could suggest to put an Excel chart into a PowerPoint presentation.#

1. Select and copy the chart in Excel, then paste onto a blank layout slide in PowerPoint.

2. Use Insert-Object, then choose Create from file, then hit the Browse button to find the Excel file containing the chart, and click OK. I'm pretty sure if you do it this way the chart should be on the first sheet in the Excel file.
