Looking up if people have data in either of both of a few collum

Is there an easy way to filter if people have been to either or both days of a multi day event. Attendance is marked in individual columns per day against each attendees name. some will be blank in one column so can't just do a sort. I have been changing attended to 1 and doing sum values so people either have 0 1 or 2 but feel this is over complicated and there is likely a better option

Hi Kate,

Thank you for the forum question.

You saw the Advanced filter on the Excel Intermediate course.

You will need to create a criteria range. Set up the criteria. Select a single cell in the list you want to filter. Click Advanced Filter in the Sort & Filter group. Add the range in which you have created the criteria range and click OK.

I have created an example I have attached to the answer.
