Which is the best function if I want to find a period date (for example 6 months) based on a given date? So, if a have a date and then want to find the date which is 6 months from that.

Hello Luciana,
Thank you for your question. There is a very useful function in Excel which can do this for you:
Say you have a date in cell A1, the function in cell B1 would be:
=EDATE(A1,6)
This will return a date exactly 6 months from the date in A1.
