I want to count responses in a sheet where I've used a data validation list can I do this and what is the best way?
RE: Count
Hello Sandra,
Data created from drop-down lists can be counted in the same way that you would count typed or pasted data.
If you want to count the total number of responses, =COUNTA will do this.
If you want to count different responses, =COUNTIF or =COUNTIFS will perform this task.
I hope this answers your question. If not, please do post again.
Kind regards
