how can I download information from sage50 into excel directly
RE: merging
Hi Niruba,
Thank you for the forum question.
I am personally not working with Sage 50, but I have clients connection Excel to Sage via Power Query.
When I did the small introduction to Power Query, I showed you that you need Get data from the Data tab, and you will need a ODBC (Open Data Base Connection).
I found a video on Youtube, which explain how to do a ODBC connection.

Excel tip:Turn Function tooltips on and offExcel 2002 (XP) and Excel 2003 have the Function tooltips facility. When you type in a function name followed by a bracket, for example, =IF(, a yellow box appears beside the function name and lists the function's arguments. This is very useful when you can't quite remember the order of a function's arguments or what the arguments actually are! |
