Countdown timer in powerpoint

HI. Looking to insert a 2 minute count down timer/clock into PPT presentation deck. Is there a quick way to do this or a pre-prepared slide I can copy/paste?

RE: Countdown timer in powerpoint

Hi Tracy,

Thanks for your question. When you go to the Insert tab in PowerPoint, click on Store, then type timer into the search box. The first timer in the search results works well for me. It's called Easy Timer. Afterwards you can insert the timer into any slide in any presentation from My Add Ins in the Insert tab.

I hope this helps!

PowerPoint tip:

Getting animations to play in slide show view

If you have a presentation that you know contains animations, but they are not playing in slide show view, try the following:

1. Go to Slide Show - Set up Show.

2. In the 'Show options' section of the dialogue box that appears, check to see if the box next to 'Show without animation' has been checked.

3. Remove the check and click OK - you should now be able to see the animations play in slide show view.
